Brekke Life: Pictures and Weekend Update!

Well, this weekend was definitely nothing short of busy...but it was so much fun! Scott surprised me with renting a sporty convertible for the weekend, it was so much fun to drive and we had such a blast! It made the ride up north much more enjoyable and made the trip even better! We were up north for the pine county fair this weekend, catching up with some old friends and seeing the fam a little bit! Friday we soaked up some rays in the pool after a fun ride up and went to the fair that evening. We indulged in all the amazing food the fair has to offer, favorites being the corn and pork chops! Saturday we went out on the pontoon with Tom and Donna (and Gracie Kellie) for some fishing, sun and grilling! We didn't catch any fish except for Tom, but we had a lot of fun! Mom H made an amazing meal of meatballs and mashed potaters for dinner on saturday and then scott headed to the derby while I stayed home and went out fishing with mom, dad and uncle wes! That too was a bit of a bust excpet for one northern, but still fun! Sunday was rainy so we ate a yummy lunch of fish and headed back to our little homestead!
