Linkin Thomas Morehouse was born at 1:15 in the morning on Tuesday, March 10th!!! We were so happy to meet our beautiful nephew! He was 9 lbs 2 oz. 22 inches long, him and Skye both are going to be tall apparently! Heather did an awesome job, despite a very long labor. She had a home water birth and I definitely think she's a rock star! Skye looked so huge next to little linkin

Skye loves her monkey jmperoo that she got from grandma kari, she is constantly moving and it's so fun to watch her get all excited and bounce around!

Skye and I along with gmama and gpapa brekke went to watch scott's championship game for a basketball league he's been playing in! They didn't win, but they had fun. Scott has been scoring over 25 points a game and even hit a highlight with 34 points one game when me and skye came to watch...he is very happy to be playing again, and I must say it was definitely a very competetive league, it seemed that a fight almost broke out every game...yikes! (of course not with scott, he is not much of a fighter thank goodness!)

A busy day!!

Friday we went to the home and garden show because bathcare had a booth set up this year! It was very fun going and visiting and seeing all the different booths! (Bathcare's was the best of course!!!!) Skye even got to work the booth with gramps and gram :) We also got to see heather and mike there which is always fun, hopefully the next time we will see them there will be a new member of their family as mr. linkin thomas is due today! We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our first nephew, and I know heather and mike will be great parents!

After we were done at the show we went to the tile shop to look at some tile for our entry-way. Hopefully we will get on that project soon and will have pictures posted :)

Our last stop was walmart for some cleaning supplies for a job I had this weekend cleaning my dad's friends house that he is about to put on the market and a few other items...this trip lasted much much longer than expected because we got something that wasn't on the list.....

As you can see below...Skye is growing like a little weed! We took her to her 2 month appointment and she weighed 12 lbs 5 oz, which puts her in the top 90th percentile for weight and was 2 ft 1 inch long which put her in the top 97th percentile for height! She is a very healthy little girl and is awake pretty much all day with mommy now, a few cat naps here and there...but pretty much awake and active! She is sleeping through the night very well, every once in a while she will wake up once, but that's it!!! YAY!
She also has a new favorite, her bumbo. She has such a strong little neck and loves sitting up in her bumbo and watching tv or watching mommy and daddy make funny faces at her! She is such a blessing to us and it is amazing how much she grows and develops every day!

At our home, bath time seems to be a favorite time of day! Mommy loves bath time to relax, and skye loves bath time so she can pee on mommy! But this day it was not like the others, daddy was home to help with bath time and for once daddy got peed on instead of mommy--this made mommy very happy and daddy couldn't help but think it was a little funny too...In his words : "you just had to get the butt crack picture didn't ya?" Fergus Family Christmas

Last weekend we packed up and headed to Fergus Falls for our borowski family christmas. It was Skye's first road trip as well as her first over night trip to somewhere other than grandma and grandpas! She did awesome, and slept well in the car both on the way there and the way back!
It was so much fun staying with Lewises and seeing Ty, he is such a little man I can't believe it! As always it was great visiting with family :) Of course we were excited for Skye to meet everyone as well, and I think they were excited to meet her! Thanks everyone for the gifts and the special memories!

The past few weeks have flown by with our little girl here keeping us very busy! She is already a month old, we can't believe how much she has changed! We can't even imagine our life without her now! She is awake a lot during the day and for the past 2 weeks has been sleeping through the night (I know we are the luckiest parents in the world!!!) For instance last night we put her down at 9:30 and she slept until 7 this morning! She has a huge appetite on her and no matter how much she eats, in an hour she will want more!
She also seems to be a vikings fan, or at least we are forcing her to be one! A friend of mine gave us this adorable Peterson jersey, it is definitely Scott's favorite outfit she has! Here are some pictures from the last week or so.
Skye also had another first, she got to celebrate with her auntie heather at her baby shower for Linkin! Our sister heather is expecting a little boy very soon and we are all getting so excited, and skye will have her little cousin to play with soon!

Well, just taking a little break from cudding my little hunny to tell y'all happy 2010! What a blessed new years it has been for us with an especially special addition! Skye is such a good baby, we are very lucky! We only are getting up one time during the night for a diaper change and bottle then back to bed! She is sleeping from about 10-3 and then approximately 4-8 or 9!!! We are counting our blessings and hoping she stays with that sleep pattern! This past sunday we brought her to church to meet some friends, she was a big hit! Today Heather took her newborn pictures, so hopefully I will have an update with them soon! Along with seeing her grandma and grandpas a lot, she got to meet her great gramps and gram borowski and great gram fischer! So she has been a lucky girl getting lots of love and cuddles!!!
She is a FREAKISHLY strong baby and already will hold her head up for pretty long periods of time, and will turn on her side, almost on her belly already! I thought I had a little time before I had to worry about her flipping off the changing table, but I guess not! She is a little antsy girl and loves moving around when she is awake (which is a lot more now, and gets more frequent each day!)

INTRODUCING SKYE MARIE

Skye Marie made her grand entrance into the world on Dec 22nd at 1:53 am! She weighed in at 8 lbs 5 oz and 22 inches long! I will probably post tomorrow letting everyone know how things went, right now my baby is hungry and this mama needs some sleep, besides we all know what you guys really want is the pictures ;) so here is our precious little angel, it is amazing how much we love her already!

So for those of you who haven't heard the news, no baby yet! She is officially past her due date and her mommy and daddy are officially antsy as can be to meet her! I met with my doctor on Monday and because of my measurements and the fact that everything seems to be pretty right on for her due date she thought we should set a time to induce if she doesn't come on her own to avoid the risk of her getting too big and having to have a C-section.

So unless Skye gets her little tushy into gear, I will be going into the hospital Sunday night at 5 to start getting some meds to get me ready for labor and then Monday morning they will start the meds to induce labor. I will be at the hospital overnight sunday as well. I am still hoping and praying she comes on her own the next few days to avoid inducing, but either way our little girl will be here in a few days and we can't be any happier about that! Keep the prayers coming and I will try my best to keep everyone updated! Hopefully the next blog will be to announce the arrival of our little sweetie!

Scott and I have been pretty antsy waiting for little Ms. Skye to make her grand entrance so we have been coming up with some fun activities such as dominoes...somehow we just can't seem to get her out of our mind though! We are very excited and can't wait to meet her! On her due date we were driving and there was the most beautiful pink sunset, we were hoping that was maybe a sign, but no such luck :( It was beautiful anyways though, so here are a few pictures!

38 weeks!!

Just a quick update...yesterday Scott and I went in for my 38 week check-up as well as the concern that I had been having what felt like muenstral cramps all day. My doctor got pretty excited at that because I have also been having mild contractions that are quite sporadic, but starting to get them a lot more often. So she did a check and I am just dilated to one, but she thinks I am showing signs of early labor so hopefully our little girl will be here soon. She basically said the same thing she has been saying, I could see you back here later tonight or I could see you next week for your 39 week check-up. Either way- our baby girl will be here this month!!!! YAY!!!

We also did a tour of the labor and delivery unit at the hospital and I was so surprised. It is AWESOME! I told Scott it felt a little bit like a spa instead of a hospital, I guess I had watched too many baby stories with white walls and small cube rooms! These came with very cute decorating, couches that pull out in both the delivery and recovery rooms as well as cute furniture for other people who may be there. They also had flat screen tv's and huge bathtubs that look like I could swim a few laps! For those of you who will be planning to visit I must tell you their rules for visitors, no more than 4 people can visit at one time. This has been enforced strongly because of the h1n1 going around I guess. So if planning to visit just let us know and we will try and make sure that we can get some type of schedule worked out!

37 weeks!

Hi everyone, well some word probably has gotten around and I know some of you have been waiting to hear the story...so this morning scott and I headed up to the Brekkes to pick up their trailer with a load of dirt to do some landscaping around our house before snow comes. We got a pretty good load, only about half the trailer and started back for home...we made it about 5 miles and all of a sudden the trailer started fish-tailing. Scott tried to slow down a little bit (we were only going about 50mph) and it got even worse, next thing we know the trailer had whipped us around and we were facing the opposite direction facing oncoming cars. We were very lucky there were no cars in the other lane or directly behind us when it happened or it could have been pretty bad.

Luckily Scott is very calm in those situations so he was able to hand it good and keep us from rolling the truck. On the unfortunate side it ended with the trailer Jack-Knifing and putting a pretty good dent right over the gas tank which Scott and my Dad had just done work on a few months ago. Hopefully it is drivable and we will just worry about the body work later.

God was protecting us and our little Skye! Just wanted to let everyone know we are ok though since I know it is easy to get bits and peices of a story. I also had my 37 week appointment this evening and she is perfect! Heart beat and size is great :) I also had some contractions yesterday...very sporadic but still a good sign I guess! Keep us in your prayers-love you all!

36 Weeks 2 days and counting!

I had my 36 week appointment on Tuesday and everything looked very good still, it seems we have a very healthy, active little girl and are so pleased everything is going so well. Of course I am beginning to get to that stage where it is hard to move around and I can't sleep, but luckily I have a very sweet husband that does all he can to try and keep me as comfortable as possible.

Skye had a baby shower at our home this past Saturday with the Brekke and Fischer sides. It was so much fun...Donna, Heather and Jen put a ton of work into it and it turned out great! Thanks to everyone for all the great gifts and company! Now that all the excitement of baby showers is over, we are just counting down the days until she is here :)

Busy Week!

This week Scott is in Bemidji with a big work load, 11 tubs in 6 in days at the Best Western. So Me and Donna decided with the Brekke men out of town we would take the opportunity to do a lot of work in the basement, we are taking on painting the whole basement throughout this week! We have Scott's game room all done, which I am sure he will be very sad to see that it is now navy blue and grey rather than a pretty pink like it has been since we moved in! We also have all the ceilings done and the accent walls in the spare bedroom and living room done, only have one color to go! WOO HOO!

32 Week Appointment

Well yesterday we had our 32 week appointment, hard to believe how fast the time has flown by so far! I was a little worried because I had been having quite a bit of pelvic pain, but my doctor reassured me that my body is just stretching and getting ready for little miss skye to come into the world!

Everything looked really good at the appointment though, my measurements were right on track with how far along I am and she did a pelvic exam and confirmed that Skye is head down so we were happy to hear that as my worst fear is having a C-section... not to say that eliminates the chance of having to have one...but were still happy to hear she is in a good position. Her heart beat was at 162 and she was moving around for the appointment a lot, I am starting to get kicks to the ribs now especially when I am trying to go to bed, she always is wide awake when I am trying to go to sleep! But I love feeling her move around, even if some movements are quite uncomfortable to me!

Last weekend was women of Faith Conference and it was such an amazing time! I was very excited that this year my mother in law donna could join us, we had such a blast and the speakers were amazing as always. Next year we are hoping to have even a bigger group with the Brekke/Heimdal/Borowski women! Scott also took advantage of the weekend and went up bow hunting. They got stuff set up and were happy to see a few deer sniffing around! Hopefully this will be a lucky year for them!

I had a second baby shower Saturday after women of faith at Aunt Pam's and it was so much fun. A lot of people showed up to celebrate with us and it was a great end to an amazing weekend. Of course, Skye made out again with a lot of great gifts! She sure is a lucky girl and to think there is still one more baby shower left, yikes!!!! Thanks to everyone who is there sharing in our joy with us, although I love being pregnant I can't be more excited to hold my little girl!

Other Fall Happenings

This fall has been a very busy one with all the moving and getting things settled in our house, but we are loving it! Of course the most exciting things to get settled are Skye's things into her room, I love to just go in there and sit and look at all her cute stuff! I am getting very very anxious for her to be here! I have my 30 week appointment today, and am on a 2 week schedule now. Scott and I will be beginning prenatal classes this month, and I just took my glucose test which came back within the normal limits. So everything seems to be going very well! She is moving around like crazy now and I love the feeling of her kicking, except when it keeps me up for a large portion of the night!

A few weekends ago Heather, Zac and Ty were our first official houseguests. We don't have the spare bedroom done yet in the basement, so they had to settle for the trusty air mattress! It was so much fun having them come visit, of course Scott and Zac spent most of their time in the "gaming room". Ty loved driving his boom booms all over the kitchen, and much to my pleasure, did not even attempt to play with the oven that had no door and was extremely grimey and yucky (It has since been replaced with a much nicer version) It is always a fun time when we get to see the Lewises!

Last weekend Heather threw a baby shower for me and Skye in fergus and it was so much fun, thanks again to everyone who came and everyone that helped with the shower. Heather is definitely the master party planner, it was great food, great company, great games and great gifts :) Scott had fun going through all of Skye's new goodies when I got home on Sunday and he said to tell everyone thanks as well! We are lucky to have so many amazing people in our lives!

It will continue to be busy for us with hunting season here, women of faith conference, two more baby showers, holidays and before we know it our little Skye will be here and we will wonder where in the world that nine months went! Well it has been a long time again, and as many people have reminded me...I am a horrible blogger! I lost my camera cord somehow in the moving process so these pictures have just been sitting on my camera for quite some time now! Taking Heather's advice I went out and got a universal card reader so I can finally share all these pictures with you all!I took a lot of before and after pictures so you can kind of see the changes we made, but believe me the pictures do not show the nasty scuzziness embedded in this house before we got to cleaning and painting, I really doubt the former tenants ever had cleaned the cabinets or blinds...they were GROSS!!

At the present time it is not allowing me to move any text or pictures around because my computer is acting extremely weird so some of the are out of order, but I am sure you will get which ones are before and after!

24 week appointment

I had my 24 week appointment today, and everything came back great! Our little baby girl has a very strong heart beat at 150 beats per minute and my measurements were right on with where they should be. She will be here before we know it and I CAN'T wait to meet her :)
I also got the flu shot at this visit, which my arm is not thanking me for. It was good to get it out of the way, especially with all the germies hanging around work!
Well keep us in your prayers the next few days as we close on our home :) I have come to the decision that underwriters have kind of sad little lives. After going a week thinking we had been approved by underwriting they called today to let us know that we ARE approved but there is one contingency...they don't accept my reason for moving to north branch which is a ways from my work. The reason I had given was that the home prices were more affordable, thinking hhhhmmm how would they dispute that? Apparently that is not a good enough reason. They are fine with our finances, fine with income, fine with everything and apparently just want to make us wiggle until the last second. So after submitting a more acceptable reason for moving to north branch from eagan, they let me know they should hear something late tomorrow-----good thing since we close on the house first thing in the morning on friday!
My lender let me know there should be no problems, but we are sitting here squirming until we get the keys in our hands!

Chaos!

So, life has been crazy and unfortunately I have not been good about posting about the happenings this summer. It has flown by so fast, and I can't believe that soon it will be fall and all the kids will be back in school-what?

We have had a pretty jam packed summer and have had a grand total of one...count it, one weekend home to relax! We have had so much fun though so that makes up for it! We have gotten to see Mr. Ty and Heather and Zac a few times this summer which has been crazy, he is growing so fast! We also went on a camping trip with our bible study to the Taylors Falls area. That was a great time with great friends, we came up with a menu prior to leaving and everyone brought ingredients, I don't think I have ever eaten so well...and definitely not while camping. Our menu ranged from bluberry pancakes slathered in berries and cool whip to hawiian chicken with yummy potatoes, it was a fun time! We also had our friend from high school's wedding to attend. It was gorgeous as was she!

We finally decided on a name for our sweet little girl-- Miss Skye ______ Brekke! We are still toying around with middle names! She is growing a ton, at least I believe she is because I wake up every morning and my belly looks bigger and bigger! She is kicking a lot too now, it is such and amazing feeling.

Well it may be a while until my next blog because next friday we are MOVING INTO OUR HOME!!!!! YAY!!!!! So not sure when we will hook up the internet and when we will have the time, I think we have quite a bit of work ahead of us...job number one...Skye's nursery just because I am way too excited!

IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!!!

Scott and I got to go have an ultrasound done today for my 20 week appointment, and there was some anatomy missing in the ultrasound, so it's a girl!!! She seemed extremely sure and said she didn't want to say 100%...but, 100% it's a girl! We are so excited and can't wait to meet our little baby girl! The due date is staying at dec. 15th. Shana had been nice enough to do an ultrasound for me that showed a little later, but according to her weight and measurements, it looks like my original due date of dec. 15th is pretty accurate, she already is moving a lot and was not so cooperative with the sonographer so I have a feeling she will come whenever she feels like it! Thanks for all the prayers and please keep them coming :)

Well, I have once again gotten very very far behind on the blogging. We have been gone every weekend and seem to be busy every weeknight when we get home from work, so blogging fell by the wayside.
We have been having a jam-packed, exciting, stressful few months. Most fun and important news is that we continue to prepare for the arrival of baby brekke.....baby girl or boy will be determined in about 2 weeks!!! We are so excited and can't wait to hold them in our arms! Hopefully the next 5 months fly by! Scott's sister heather recently found out she is also expecting and we can't be more excited to have the cousins so close, and it will be very fun to share all the joys of pregnancy together. We're so happy for them. Please keep both us and Heather and Mike in your prayers for very healthy babies :)
We have also been househunting like crazy still, and as of today have put in our fourth...yes fourth offer. We keep getting outbid or the other buyers offer to pay in cash---if they have 125k sitting around, why aren't they looking at more expensive houses? So it has been frusterating but we are gaining a lot of knowledge and we are feeling very good about the one that we just made an offer on, so please keep us in your prayers!
There has been way too much going on to update everything, but hopefully I will get back on track!

House Hunting!

So...this has been a very long time, and sadly it has to be short and sweet since I have to start getting ready for work! Lately we have been pretty busy hopping around to different events such as HIT's (A bball tournament our borowski side participates in every year) a few weekends ago which was very fun! Scott went the whole tournament uninjured, which I believe is a first! So we were very happy with that! Both teams did great and had a lot of fun!
This past weekend we went up to Pine to celebrate easter with both families. It was great being able to see everybody, it seems like time passes so quickly and it is great to be able to celebrate God's amazing Love for us with all of our loved ones!
Some of you already know, but for those who don't: Scott and I have been house hunting for the past 2 months and found quite a few that we really liked, and the trend always seemed to be they would sell either the day we looked at them, or already be sold and the realtors give us bad info. So we were starting to get really frusterated, but we put it in God's hands and are hoping he leads us to the perfect house. Well...we think he may have done that! We put an offer in on a house in forest lake 2 weeks ago, and have yet to hear ANYTHING from the bank, they said it could take up to 8 weeks. Because countrywide is the lender and the house is a shortsale, it is a little complicated but we are willing to give it a try because we love the house that much! We're just asking for everyone's prayers since this process is extremely stressful and LONG! It is all in God's hands, but it is hard not to get our hopes up and secretly start planning how we would renovate the whole house!!!

Fergus Christmas

Well... people may be thinking that I posted this very late...No, we just decided to have Christmas celebrations last weekend! It is so hard to work around everybody's work schedules...and luckily we found a day that everybody could make it and enjoy the celebration! It was so much fun, great food and wonderful company!

Mom, Scott and I headed up earlier than the rest of the family on Friday to get a little extra time with the Lewises and a very special little man! We were amazed at how big he is and how much he has developed since we last saw him...it was crazy! We went out to gramps and grams for dinner and had Grandma's world renown bbq sandwiches, then headed back to the Lewis household.

Saturday Heather and I did our ritual run to Herbergers to browse the sales and made a few other stops! Then we headed back to their home where heather made very yummy sandwiches for lunch! We started getting stuff ready and before we knew it people were all over for the family christmas. High lights of the night were some very intense game play in apples to apples where none other than Kay borowski chose post man for the description of chubby! It was such a great time and we were very sad to head home :(

BUT... we get to go back to fergus at the end of the month and can't wait! Of course I had to take some pictures of the other man that holds my heart :)

SO...This may be my favorite picture of all time...Zac you definitely fit into our family!

Christmas Time!

Well, belated merry Christmas to everyone! We were up in Pine City from Christmas eve until yesterday, so it's a little late!

Scott and I celebrated Christmas with each other a little early this year...we are both antsy! He got me some great gifts: such as a diamond ring that looks like a belt buckle and diamond snow flake necklace. He also gave me the best gift you can give a girl: the gift of shopping! He got some toys from me that I really didn't think through! A nintendo DS and accessories and the new Call of Duty 5 game for his x box: apparently I don't want to see my husband for the next few months because those two presents keep him very very busy!

We started out the festivities Christmas eve making our first stop at Grandma Fischer's! We had so much fun visiting with everyone, playing a very lively round of the dice game...and of course seeing scott's cousin Carrie's adorable little girl: Emma. She is such a happy little girl and has a smile that lights up a room. It is crazy how much older she looks every time we see her! At around 4 we decided we better be heading up to Pine City and went to Mom and Dad H's for stocking opening :) We enjoyed some scrumptious tacos and watched " The Grinch"...a fave!

Christmas morning bright and early we headed over to Mom and Dad B's. We got some amazing gifts including a new kitchen table (which Santa delivered a little early)! It is beautiful and we were very excited to get our little cheapy table out! Scott got guitar hero on tour and guitar hero decades from tim for his nintendo ds....and that was about what he did for the remainder of the long weekend! For dinner we had the best ham I have ever tasted and some cheesy potatoes...mmmm mmmmmm!!! Heather and Mike also brought up their snow mobile for some fun in the snow! It was a great Christmas, time with our loved ones always is great!

Friday we hit the stores bright and early for day after christmas sales, Trent pulled an all nighter in anticipation for the event! Sadly, he was let down...but not Donna and I! We found lots of goodies left over in the christmas aisles :) Friday night we did the Heimdal family gift opening! That is, after an amazing meatball and mashed potater feast! We got a lot of amazing presents there too....top of the list being an awesome video camera. We had no idea we were getting it, and were very surprised and grateful for the amazing gift. I also got a coach purse from Rikki that may be the prettiest thing I have ever carried on my arm...she knows I'm a purse girl just like her!

The rest of the weekend was filled with more fun such as watching marley and me, ordering the UFC fights.......poor Forrest Griffin :( and celebrating Tommy Boy's birthday!

Although all the presents were amazing and very appreciated, the best part of the weekend was seeing our loved ones and being able celebrate how much the Lord loves us, that he sent his son here for us: AMAZING! !

Well, as usual time has really flown by! We are already less than a week from Christmas! It is mine and Scott's favorite time of year! We absolutely LOVE going shopping for everyone and decorating the tree, and our home. Lately we've really been trying to focus more on the reason for the season and that God will always take care of us. Things don't always go the way I want them to...in fact sometimes it seems like nothing goes the way I want...but God has plans for us that often times we cannot understand. I am a worrier...big time! So it is very hard for me to just step back and let life happen, no plans, no agendas, just let go. Hopefully I can do that from now on!

On a different note...December has brought some sickness, some great times...and defintitely some SNOW! It usually takes me 8 minutes to get home from work...this past Tuesday it took me and hour and a half. It is never a good feeling to be sitting stopped for 45 minutes and still be able to see your work out of your rear view mirror...ICK! So as much as I love the snow, I hate driving in it, in particular I hate driving in the traffic that it causes :( I do however love to play in it! Scott and I went snow tubing today and it was a BLAST! It was blizzarding all day and the perfect day to get out and have some fun! When we got home I made some hot chocolate and I am about to cuddle up with my hubby by the fireplace and watch the grinch...seriously I think I may have just had a perfect day!

I cannot believe it is already november....almost mid-november at that! I have been a bit absentee lately because I have been recovering from mono. It was AWFUL! I am starting to get back in the swing of things now, but still very worn out and tired...all the time! Scott has been hunting now for the past 6 weekends, keeping busy between bow and rifle. They had been seeing quite a few deer bow hunting in the previous weekends, but none large enough and close enough to shoot. They were feeling good about rifle opener... and then came the wind, snow, rain, and cold spell. They didn't even see a deer all weekend and heard very few gun shots, which is not normal for opener where they hunt. He'll be going up this weekend, so pray for better weather! I have been getting to spend some time with family when he's been gone! The weekend after I got mono I was still very out of it, so I wasn't much fun...but I bunked out up north and visited with the parents! Donna and I found some ok sales at target the day after halloween, but weren't overly impressed and my big purchase was pop rocks 50% off! Had to get them for old time sake! This past weekend Donna came down on Thursday and we had fun shopping and going out to Green Mill (mmmmm)! Friday I went and had movie night with Donna and Heather (and miss lucy the dog:) Saturday was a busy one! Donna and I woke up WAY too early...I think it might have been because we joked with the guys that they had to get up at 4:30 for hunting and that we'd be snug in a warm bed....apparently that plan did not work out! Later my Mom came down to visit me and Rik. She brought us a surprise: LUMPKIN! Lumpkin's real name is Dakota...he is an incredibly sweet baby and we love to steal him any chance we get. Unfortunately he has a tough home life, so we try to give him all the love he can handle! They went home sunday and I had quite the lazy day waiting for my hubby to get home. Gotta love those lazy days! I am hoping to go visit fergus this weekend! So I am sure I will have some new pictures to post next blog!

A Busy October!

The past few weeks have been filled a lot of bad luck :( It all started with an ear ache...then double ear aches. A trip to the urgent care revealed that I had a double ear infection. I got meds and went to work the next day, only for my ear to begin bleeding...another trip to urgent care revealed a ruptured left ear drum. So I had been in quite a bit of pain. I'm feeling better now although I don't believe my medicine has helped because now two weeks later I still have pain in my right ear. Friday I was starting to finally feel a little bit better and my car broke down right in the middle of old cedar ave. in bloomington. I had a bit of a panic attack until a nice woman in stiletto heels pulled over and offered to help me push the car to the side of the road! We got it over there, skirt, stilettos and all! Scott has to rearrange hunting plans so I would have a vehicle for work on monday since he was going to be up north, but it all worked out and the car got fixed monday of the next week. Women of Faith conference was also that weekend and I had an amazing time. It was nice to be able to get away from all the stress that the week had brought and just be able to praise my father and realize all the amazing things I have in my life. An ear infection and a fewe car repairs are minor bumps in the road compared to what a lot of people may be dealing with. It also was a great time of healing for me since I've been carrying around a lot of pain....just needed a little refresher that God is always there for me and he loves me :) Next year Mom Brekke will be joining us for women of faith along with Rikki so it will be even better :) It was so great having Grandma and Mom up for the weekend, especially indulging in some shrimp with them :) This week kind of flew by..and now my hubby is up hunting again. What are my plans for the weekend? NOTHING!!!!!!!! I am so ridiculously excited to snuggle into our bed and watch hours upon hours of friends, eat ice cream, and relax.

So, once again I have fallen behind on my blogging! Life has been crazy lately... We've both been very busy with work and always seem to have something planned on the weekends! September was a busy month, Scott went bow hunting up by Mille Lacs mid-september but there were too many leaves up, so they'll give it a try next weekend hoping there will be a lot less leaves in the trees! I had a womens' weekend with the ladies on the Heimdal side, we went to Kelli's in Des Moines and had a lot of fun chatting and catching up! Shea, my mom and I rode together so we headed back on Sunday. The weekend after that was an especially great one because I got to see TY! We missed him a lot and can't believe how much he'd grown! Heather, Zac and Ty arrived Friday night and we went out for dinner. Ty was a good sport even though I'm sure he was getting tired! They stayed the night and Saturday morning Heather and I made a short but very efficient trip to pick up a couple things. They left late morning and Scott and I attempted to get some things done around the apartment! SUnday we went to watch the twinkies play. It was Ty's first twins game, and I'm not sure he knew quite what to think. He was so good all game, just would get a little startled when the fans would go crazy! We loved seeing them, and have decided we have to come see Ty very soon! October hasn't been quite as crazy for us, we went up North to visit the folks and had a lot of fun visiting and picking apples..thanks Mama D! This past weekend we babysat my friend Cassandra's little girl. She is such a cutie pie and she instantly had scott wrapped around her little finger. I guess she doesn't usually like men besides her daddy, but she sure loved scott! I also went out to dinner for girls night with Rikki and Shealyn, I love having them down here and they are doing really great! Next weekend brings the Women of Faith conference, a high light of the year #1 because it is amazing to praise God with thousands of other women and #2 because I get to spend time with grammie and mama! It should be a really fun time! Scott will be in his deer stand that weekend so pray for deer to be sent his way...apparently this year he is going with "brown is down"! SO I think I am basically caught up! God is good and we're blessed with everything he's been doing for us!

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers over the last couple weeks. We are doing a lot better and feeling much more at peace. This monday I started work as an infant teacher at a Kindercare by us. It was a little hard the first day to be around babies so soon, but by the end of the day it actually felt a little healing. I really like it even though it is quite stressful and quite a lot of work. There are usually me and either one or two other women working and usually about 12 babies, so we are hopping. I already have a little boyfriend named Tishon that cries anytime I leave the room and won't go to the other workers anymore. I work Mon-Fri 9-6 so I am getting a ton of hours, but already missing my hubby, we were used to both being home early afternoon so it's a change but one I'm sure we'll handle with time. I am hoping to be starting really early like 6 and working until like 4 since I am kind of an early bird. Scott has sprayed every tub this week and he keeps improving. I think he is his harshest critic because I went with him to put one of tubs together and it sure looked perfect to me :) So we're both taking pretty big steps in the job area, keep praying that it works out good!

Hi everyone! This past week Scott and I got some very special news! WE'RE HAVING A BABY! We weren't trying but our mindset has been when God is ready for us to have kids, we will....and that time is now! We are both so excited and happy! Both sides of grandparents are extremely excited as well to have a little baby around! There is no doubt there will be lots of love and support surrounding our little family and we thank everyone so much for that! I have thought I was for probably between a week and a half to two weeks, but took a test on Monday...and then another one on Tuesday....and then went into the doctor and took one on Wednesday! All positive :) Also having morning sickness was a pretty big hint... in a weird way I actually love it. I obviously do not love the vomiting part but I love knowing that there's a little person in there and it makes everything feel that much more real to me! Keep us in your prayers for a safe pregnancy :) We love all of you!

So, this week was my last one with Jaci and Connor :( After 3 years of watching them turn into amazing little human beings, they are off to Montessori school and Nikki will be home with them in their off time. I have no doubts that I will still see them a lot and remain great friends with their family...but none the less it was a very emotional day for me. I have been job hunting for about the last month and thankfully have something lined up starting already on monday. It is a nanny placement company called Loving Care. They interview families and then interview nannies and try to find good fits. I will be working with a couple families as a temporary nanny while they find a good fit for long term care. I am really excited about it and will be working with a couple different families so I can get 40 hours a week. Please pray for me as everything is a little scary in the first week of anything new. Also under the subject of jobs: Scott has been spraying the top coat on some of the tubs and is doing a great job. I'm really proud of his hard work and appreciate everything he does for our little family! So God has been richly blessing us lately and we are just on this crazy ride of life letting him take us where we're supposed to be!

UFC 87: Seek and Destroy

This weekend has been one for the record books! Scott and I basically ate, slept and breathed UFC for three straight days! The result: Best time of our lives! On Thursday there was a press conference and fighter signing at the Mall of America. We thought that they would be in and out, but instead they stayed around talking to fans, taking pictures, giving autographs etc. They were so nice and we were really impressed by their appreciation for their fans. Scott and I are used to the basketball/baseball/football players that walk by you like they don't even see you....so we were really impressed. High light of the weekend had to be meeting Quinton "Rampage" Jackson! Scott looked at him and asked if he knew who his next fight was and he replied to Scott..."you"...hhmmm, wonder how that one might go! Scott passed on that fight! I asked for a picture with him and he replied...Girl you can get anything you want, you's my fan! On Saturday we headed to the Target Center for photos, autographs and the official weigh ins! After meeting Clay Guida, Sean Sherk and Matt Hughes we went to applebees for a little break and who to we see sitting there? Wanderlei Silva! We asked him for a picture and Scott went to give him a hand shake...he reacted with giving scott a bear hug. It is so funny how nice all of the fighters were! Saturday was the actual fight night and the day passed so slow! Mom and Dad H got tickets as well on the other side of the arena from us....and Mom had a blast "touching GSP's sweaty arm!" She also gave Adrianne Peterson a high five and went...oh I just gave some basketball player a high five...mother mother mother...does Vikings Rookie future MVP ring a bell, wrong sport! Just rqazzin you mom! There were a lot of good fights, Brock Lesnar tore Heath Herring apart, Kenny Florian took down Roger Huerta and GSP retained the belt while man handling John Fitch ( I was sad about that one!) Probably the most explosive moment of the night was Cheick Congo knocking out Evenson cold! I am sure many of you don't know who any of these people are, but they are the elite of the Mixed Martial Arts world!

Well, this weekend was definitely nothing short of busy...but it was so much fun! Scott surprised me with renting a sporty convertible for the weekend, it was so much fun to drive and we had such a blast! It made the ride up north much more enjoyable and made the trip even better! We were up north for the pine county fair this weekend, catching up with some old friends and seeing the fam a little bit! Friday we soaked up some rays in the pool after a fun ride up and went to the fair that evening. We indulged in all the amazing food the fair has to offer, favorites being the corn and pork chops! Saturday we went out on the pontoon with Tom and Donna (and Gracie Kellie) for some fishing, sun and grilling! We didn't catch any fish except for Tom, but we had a lot of fun! Mom H made an amazing meal of meatballs and mashed potaters for dinner on saturday and then scott headed to the derby while I stayed home and went out fishing with mom, dad and uncle wes! That too was a bit of a bust excpet for one northern, but still fun! Sunday was rainy so we ate a yummy lunch of fish and headed back to our little homestead! Settled In!

After a very long week and a half we are finally settled in pretty good to our new place! It is AMAZING what an extra bedroom and extra bathroom can do for feeling less cramped and feeling much more like home! I am absolutely in love with having a washer and dryer in our apartment...I do a load as soon as I have a couple things to wash! Sounds ridiculous, but I love it! Thankfully we had a life saver, Tim helped us move ALL of our big furniture, it was a huge job for just Scott and Tim, but a few bumps, bruises and chunks out of knuckles later all of it was in here. I helped as well, but it is hard to fit three people up the skinny stairwells so I mainly was in charge of helping at the straight aways and making sure everything was clear and out of the way. Scott has been really busy with work too, so he has been a tired dude! Me and the kids decided to go to a nature center and go for a hike...let's just say that I thought I was too cool for bug spray and ended up getting a good 20 bites! The kids had bug spray on and escaped with one or two. We also went to the public pool and Connor showed me his killer swim skills, they even had a water slide that he was brave enough to go down by himself! Jaci went with me and we had a blast! Hi everyone, sorry we haven't had much time lately to write! Today is not much different, Scott and I found out on Monday that they want us to be out of our apartment and into the two bedroom apartment we were planning to move into by aug. 1st. We thought we had until september so things are very crazy right now! We decided to get a two bedroom with a washer and dryer and fireplace since we were getting a bit crammed in our little one bedroom! We love it but don't love all the moving...but the end result will be great! We'll hopefully be done soon so I can write more :)

This weekend brought some car troubles, chaos and A LOT of fun! We headed up to pine city on wednesday to visit the parentals for a couple days. We got to see one of Trent's summer leaugue games, he did awesome as always! Friday was the big Fischer side picnic, it was so much fun to see everyone and take in what a beautiful day it was...the food was amazing and playing croquet, ladderball, swimming and frisbee were some of the highlights. We headed out early afternoon to get to Fergus in time for festivities there! We got there just in time to get on Super Mable...the three person tube that's mission is to KILL our muscles! It was very fun, all except that our car started to overheat when we got to fergus. We had a great time with all the Borowskis/Lewises! Saturday brought more fun on good ol Super Mable as well as some wakeboarding by some (not me....too many past injuries that still haunt me!) Sunday was the highlight of the trip...baby Ty's baptism! He was such a good little boy as always! Borowskis had burgers on the grill and everyone came out to their house for more fun on the lake! Monday we brought our car into the shop and they broke the news that it was going to be a big job, and it wouldn't make it back to the cities without a fix. They were worried about it being the headgasket. So Tuesday I met Tim with Scott so that he could work on Wednesday, we got to spend some time out on the farm with Grandpa and Grandma playing jarts and golf, it was great to be able to see them for a while too! Wednesday I hung out with gram and gramps until the car was ready to be picked up, it ran like a champ and was a lot smaller of a job than they thought! Who ever would have thought we would be happy to hear that the job wa "only" $550?

Special thanks to everyone who let us bunk up and help with our car situation...There's a lot worse places to be stranded...especially when little mr. Ty is in the picture!

Well...Basically we love summer! We have been having a very busy summer, but a great one so far! We had the twins autogrpah party last weekend and let's just say it was a success! I was the first person in line at Joe Mauer (there were nearly a thousand people in his line) So we got 2 Mauer signatures, 2 Morneau signatures, Carlos Gomez on a sweet photo and Harmon Killebrew on 2 baseballs! It was well worth the overnight wait we had to endure to get them. Scott and Justin Morneau are also buds now! Scott had heard that Morneau likes Jimmy John's and being as Scott and I are JJ's enthusiasts, he decided to ask Morneau what he thinks of when he hears Jimmy John's. Morneau finished up signing the bat and looks up, laughing...ans says: "#4 no sprouts" They had a moment of laughter and now are live long pals...it was very funny and not many people can say they have an inside joke with Justin Morneau! Besides going to the sporting festivities...We are lucky enough to have a pool at the apartments so we like to spend quite a bit of time lounging by the pool! Jaci and Connor like to come visit to play in the pool and play with the kitty cat! Their Dad is allergic to cats, so they take advantage of it when they get to play with Liddell. This weekend was also Rikki Tikki Tembo No Serembo Charlie Arlie Buchie Pick A Perry Pembo's grad party, or as some of you call her: Rikki. It was so great to catch up with a lot of family we haven't really seen since the wedding and some teachers and friends we haven't seen since high school! Of course, besides honoring Rikki and how great she's done...the high light of the weekend was getting to see Mr. Ty Cameron Lewis! He's such a sweet little guy...I think I love him just a little bit! Even better, we get to see him next weekend too along with all the Borowski's and Lewis's so it should be a very fun weekend! On the not so good side, driving up to Pine Scott's truck broke down and we had to replace the fuel pump....big bummer! But it's one of those things you gotta suck it up and pay for it, so he'll be picking that back up today! Hopefully it will run good for a long while here!

This past week has been a very fun one! Started off by celebrating my 21st birthday! Scott made a very fun game show for me in the morning to open my presents (he is always so sweet and creative!) Then when I got to work the kids surprised me by bombing me with twenty one balloons! We had a fun day of playing then I headed home to get ready for dinner! Our friends Michaela and Bill joined us for dinner at Osaka...an AMAZING hibachi grill. It was so much fun and the best birthday I could have asked for!! Friday we packed up and headed up North where we got to meet Gracie, she is the most adorable puppy ever! The fam got her for Tom for Father's day...she is such a sweetie and such a good puppy! We spent some time with them and then headed to Brainerd Saturday for a week of fishing and fun. It was a great time even though scott had a bad cold and Trent got the flu one day and threw up about twenty times! The weather wasn't the greatest but we still had a great time and did our part by ridding the lakes of all the crappies (JK) but we did make quite a haul in the crappie department. Trent also was very proud to land a four pound bass in the dark...it was pretty sweet. The winner however, has to go to Scott's sister heather who landed a 6 pound bass near shakopee, I think all the guys jaws dropped when they heard that one! We're finally back home now and happy to be able to sleep in our own bed tonight since about a week and a half of being gone! Liddell is pretty happy to have us home too :)

This weekend was amazing because Scott and I got to go meet our little Godson Ty! He is so beautiful and such a special little man! On Friday we got to Fergus and cuddled with Ty for a while before I headed out for coffee with Heather and Linda and Scott started the night out right: with Halo! When we got back from coffee we went to Paul and Sheri's with baby Ty. Then we headed home for a "hair dying party" it was very fun, unfortunately my hair didn't want to cooperate and is basically the same color it was before...oh well :) We rolled into bed around three (I thought that was late.) Scott stayed up with all the boy cousins playing Halo until around 7:30 in the morning. Needless to say he was pretty tired on the drive home. We can't wait to see baby Ty again...I already miss him :( But here are some pictures from the weekend!

Other Spring Happenings

So, since I haven't updated in a while there are lots of things to update! One is the other weekend my cousin Shea came up from Swaledale for a girls weekend of fun. Her and Rik are rooming together next year and are moving to the wonderful Eagan area beginning of August! They picked out an apartment and turned in their applications, so that was pretty fun and then we did what we do best...had a goofy fun weekend! Also, I got to see my friend Cassandra's amazingly beautiful little girl! She was such a happy little girl and had the sweetest smile...they'll have fun trying to keep the boys away! Jaci and I have been going to the park on a daily basis where we always bring food for the duckies and "goose a loose"! The goose is kind of mean and tries to chase us and bite...Jaci is much braver than me, sometimes she has to say it's okay Kayla...we can run faster than goose a loose! It is always fun with her! Con man is getting done with school so soon he will be with us all day which makes for fun and adventures...I am sure we will have some fun stories to report!

Graduation weekend was a little crazy and quite hectic! It started with a trip up to Pine City to pick up my mom and then we headed to Fergus for our cousin, Tim's graduation party. It was great seeing everyone and I figured I better post something on here since I am pretty pathetic at it (I've been notified!!!) It was really fun spending time with family and having fun! Then we headed back to pine city where we quick ate and then headed over to Brekkes. Scott went to the late show of the new indiana jones movie which in his words was a "very fakey letdown". I stayed at home and watched to Boston/Detroit game...CELTICS IN THE HOUSE, whoop whoop! I was very happy when the celtics clinched game three at Detroit! Then Sunday rolled around and we went to Rik's recognition at church and then to the grad ceremony! I was surprised when I found myself getting a little emotional that my baby sister is all growed up! We are very proud of her for all that she has accomplished, and for those of you who don't know her Grad party is June 29th at Rock Creek Community Center. We went back to Brekkes after Grad and watched the Lakers lose to those stinkin spurs :( We also had a fish fry with some bass Tim and Tom had caught...it was SO good!) Then Monday Mike and Heather came up North with their friend paul and we had a barbecue day with more delicious food! Then we had to head home :( Man do the weekends fly! Now I have to sit here all week anxious to go see baby Ty, if only I had been able to stay up in Fergus one more day! This week will be a busy one too, between work and packin up for both fergus and our family trip beginning of June...oh the craziness of it all!

Congratulations to Zac and Heather who just had a beautiful little baby boy, Ty Cameron Lewis! Since Scott and I are not planning on having kids for quite some time, we are looking forward to spoiling our new little Godson! We will be heading up this weekend to see him and will be posting pictures for the Brekke/Heimdals! I am sure all the Borowski side has seen by now :) He is absolutely beautiful and you guys are going to be amazing parents, he's a lucky little baby that he will be so loved by so many people!

Well, let's just say the weather was a little different than a year ago! We had planned to take a trip to the St. Croix river valley for our anniversary and go hiking through the trails by the river, pack a picnic lunch and just spend the day outside on saturday. Unfortunately, mother nature had other plans: SNOW! We were bummed to wake up to wind, snow and sleet but were going to make the most of the weekend. We went for an extremely cold hike saturday morning that lasted about twenty minutes and during which I believe I got a little wind burn on my cheeks. We then decided to go check out cascade falls in osceola WI. It was amazing. The trees and hills blocked the wind and we went on a long hike along the creek. The snow was so pretty on the trees and was the absolute perfect setting. It was so amazingly beautiful and we had about the best anniversary weekend we could have asked for! Thanks to everyone for all of their anniversary wishes! We love you all lots!

Well this end of winter/beginning of spring has been very busy for us! We had HIT weekend, the family basketball tournament that was a great time as always along with a fun shower for heather and baby T. It was a great weekend with family and lots of basketball! Scott rolled his ankle after a good two minutes of play in the first game but played in all three games saturday like a crazy man! ( I think he paid for that in days to come!) Now we just have next years HIT's to look forward to...maybe even a championship?

We had Rikki's prom the following weekend, we came up for the grand march and got to see some friends as well. She looked absolutely beautiful and sounds like they had a great time. Now she is winding up high school and then there's just Trent left, have fun mom and dad! JUST KIDDING, love you trentie!

As for work, Scott is busy as always and the lord keeps providing work everyday! Jaci and I spend our mondays and wednesdays at storyhours at different libraries. Tuesdays we go to the mall for "toddler tuesdays" where we have met a number of fun characters like care bears, cat in the hat, dora the explorer, mickey mouse, berentstein bears and most recently Lily....but she gets most excited to see "sharky" who is the mascot for underwater world and we see every week. I think I need to just take her to see him, then we wouldn't have to wait in mile long lines for the meet and greets! Today we spend a great day at the park and spent all afternoon playing football in the nice weather!

We are very excited about the big one year anniversary this coming week and are planning a little mini get away to the taylors falls area and plan to go hiking at the state park and just have a relaxing weekend. Hard to believe that just a year ago we were getting all nervous for the wedding! We are so blessed to have each other and all of our great family and friends as our support system! You guys are the great and we appreciate you all so much :)

Hello everyone! I hope you all are enjoying these last few days of warm weather! I wanted to let everyone know about something I just started...selling Beauticontrol products and doing in home Spa Parties! It has been very enjoyable so far, I love the products so it is easy to promote them! :) I am working on getting some more parties on my calendar, so if there is anyone that is interested in hosting one, let me know! Mexico

Scott and I spent the past week soaking up the sun on the Riviera Maya! The whole week was amazing, it was sunny and in the 80's every day! Our hotel was incredible and included the most amazing pool I have ever seen right on the beach!

They had a shuttle service to Playa Del Carmen that we took advantage of on 4 nights of our stay there. Playa's 5th ave. was amazing, the shops, the music...everything was so festive and fun. We found a friend there, a little kitty that hung out by the McDonald's! She was so sweet and I tried to talk Scott into bringing her home, but he said Liddell may get a little jealous!

We also spent a day in Cancun that turned out quite interesting...they dropped us off at a very ritzy mall and Scott and I decided to try and find some of the smaller shops, so we hopped on a bus and after a 45 minute ride we found ourselves in a market that we were the ONLY tourists. I know you're thinking that there had to be a few others walking around, no we were the only ones. Thankfully somehow we found our way back to the mall in time for the shuttle bus back to the hotel! It was quite the adventure!

We spent thursday at a place called Xel-ha. It's an inlet of the ocean and they rent out snorkeling gear and have restaraunts and gift shops as well. The day flew by so fast, we spent about 7 hours of the day snorkeling and before we knew it we had to leave. We were even fortunate enough to see a sting ray along with all the other amazing fish! It was so much fun and definitely the highlight of the trip!

All of our flights were on time, no problems with baggage claim, the whole week went so smoothly and was so relaxing and amazing!

Well, these Christmas wishes come a little late as we have been quite busy over the past few weeks. We kicked off the celebrations back in November and haven't stopped! We had a total of 7 christmas celebrations this year, and have enjoyed all of them very much (we still have 2 to look forward to!) We have been so blessed this year in all aspects of our life and really loved spending time with our loved ones and celebrating the reason for the season!

We spent Christmas eve with the Heimdal side after stopping at Scott's Grandma's in the morning! Dad was pretty sick, but still his old joking self! He may have been sick but he still was able to bust out in some Dance Dance Revolution, he's a natural! It was such a great night, we always enjoy seeing family! We then headed over to Brekke's later that night where we participated in some more DDR before heading to bed.

Christmas Day we spent with Scott's parents and siblings, we had a great time opening gifts and sharing laughs! We had a huge ham and turkey dinner that was very delicious! We are blessed to have two great families and enjoy every minute with them! Unfortunately, the next day Scott got very sick with the flu and was confined to the couch. He's feeling much better now though, thankfully it was a 24 hour bug.

I was able to go to one of Trent's basketball games. He started and did awesome, I was quite the proud big sister! He shut down their main scorer who was a 6'7" giant who was a very chippy player. He also scored an and 1 with a minute to go, and they won by one. I would say he was the mvp, but of course I may be a little biased!

We hope all of your holidays found you healthy and happy! As of January 5th we will be in Mexico for a week, so please pray for safe travels and blue skies!

Winter Madness!

It feels like it has been so long, life has been a little crazy lately! I have just been finishing up classes for the semester with a lot of reading and A LOT of writing essays! We had a very blessed thanksgiving and had so much fun spending time with our great family! We have had a lot of fun getting into the Christmas spirit and are really enjoying our first holiday season in our little home! We have also picked up a new hobby, and quite a painful one at that! We went snowboarding together yesterday and are not moving around so good today, but I am sure that we provided entertainment to the other people on the slopes with our extreme wipeouts! I had gone a few times in the past, but haven't gone for about four years, so we are both learning the ropes! Although we are very sore, we had a lot of fun and when we recover I am sure we will be going again! We also were lucky enough to get some great tickets for the timberwolves game, even though it was hard to watch them without KG on the floor, we still had a lot of fun. We hope each of you are enjoying the holidays with your loved ones and celebrating our amazing Lord's love!

Busy Week

We have had a very busy, fun week! We started the week out by carving pumpkins, Scott was very proud of his Halo 3 pumpkin! I got to enjoy the gorgeous fall weather with Connor and Jaci and we enjoyed playing in the leaves! Scott adn I also got to celebrate our 6 month marker and went out to a fancy Japanese Hibachi Grille that they cook everything in front of you while putting on a show with fire and throwing their knives around! It was very fun and excellent food! Sunday I surprised Scott with vikings tickets! We had great seats and although the Vikes lost it was very fun!

Our sweet little kitty just got a toy from Mom Heimdal and she LOVES it! She loves to pull on it and as soon as it snaps out of her mouth she goes crazy jumping about 3 feet in the air trying to get it. It is one of the most amusing things to watch and she goes at it for hours! Here are a few action shots!

Hi everyone! Since there are so many family members we don't get to see, we figured this would be the quickest mode of communication! There are many of you that have been asking to see pictures from the wedding so we will include a few of them! Scott and I have been very busy lately. Scott continues to enjoy his work with bathcare and it keeps him busy during the week while hunting season takes up the weekends. Evenings he enjoys a game of Halo3 or Madden. As for me, right now I am taking online classes and working as a nanny for a wonderful little girl and boy. I am planning on going for human services majoring in early childhood development and am really excited about the classes I will be taking in the near future! We had a very special addition to our little family...a kitty! She loves to be loved! We rescued her from the humane society and she enjoys being cuddled as much as possible. Although, Scott and I were disappointed that she much prefers Tim, Scott's brother; to either of us. If he is at our house she is on his lap!
